For the guys: The most important thing is the position of your arms while turning the lady and bringing her down. Think about, the lady has to go her steps on the line. Go with her up if you hear an accent in the music.

For the ladies: Your head is following your shoulders. If your left shoulder is down, your head is to the left. Wait and go up with the guy.

The flick it’s a nice move to play with the hand of the lady and to do a something different at the dance floor.

For the guys. We show two moves, the first one without flick. At the party, if you are not sure about if the lady will understand the flick, do the first variation and then you can try the second one.

For the turn: Do you want that the lady goes down? Then you have to do one preparation up. She should do a turn on the line. That’s the reason why at the beginning you are travelling with the lady. Leading the flick you will transfer the weight with the lady like in a mirror.

Ladies: Don’t go too much down dancing the first part, just a little bit on your knees, don’t bend too much your upper body to the front. Watch Claudia’s ladystyling: She is looking at her hand while painting the circle.

Some important things about this step.

Guys: Pay attention about the grip of your hands and learn when do you have to look to the right or to the left, because in this way you will move your upper body too and it’s very helpful for the leading.

Ladies: The ladystyling at the end it’s very nice. Take care about your elbows and bring them up only if you know that your partner is far away from you and you cannot hit him.

I’m sure, you’ve seen this step in a lot of shows and it’s very easy to do. Imagine while doing it, you’re dancing for an audience, you try to put yoour attention to the front.

Some things about this step:

1. It’s about playing with the upper body. Both are trying to keep the shoulders parallel to the shoulders of the partner.

2. We are doing the first step in slow motion, for the lady to understand, that something special is coming.

3. Guys, you have to learn to lead the torsion on the body of the lady. If she is going with the left foot, the torsion for her is to the left. If she is going with the right foot, the torsion for her is to the right (going like a cat).

4. Guys, you can play with the music and the speed of the step.

The last weeks we were playing back on back (the feather and the feather changing the hands)and now we learn how to play with the head in this position. Important: The connection between the leading of the guy and the arms-shoulders-head of the lady. The head is always following the shoulders.

For the turn on the line with head remember: On 1 there is no head movement, on 2 your head goes to the front and on 3 you bring your head up.

Guys: I have a good advice for you. Sometimes it’s better, not to think what you are suppose to do, but think about, what you want, the lady do. Watch the video and if you practise at home try to lead every single step of your partner.

Ladies: Don’t go your steps alone. Think about the connection with your partner. In most of the steps, first goes your arm and after that your upper body is following.

Today’s step: easy and beautiful.

For the ladies:

• Keep the connection between your right hand and your upper body, you need some tension in your arm.
• Think about the connection between your head and your chest: If your head goes to the front, your chest goes in. If your head goes back, your chest goes to the front.
• Keep the contact with the hand of the guy in your shoulder blade.
• Watch the video for the chassé steps.

For the guys:

• The third step you will cross forwards and the lady will cross backwards. Lead the upper body of the lady for her to cross.
• You will lead a lot with your upper body. Upper body to the left for the elastic. Upper body to the right for the cambré. Upper body to the left for the chassé. Again to the right for the cambré. To the left for the snake.
• Watch the video to see the chassé steps.
• While doing the chassé, you bringt your upper body and the lady to the left and at the same time you close with your left foot.
• For the end, while the lady is transfering the weight on her left, you will go with your right foot between her both feet and then you go into the basic step.

• After the lateral you will be in front of the lady but remember, you don’t cross the street, she needs the street free.
• You bring the lady to the front because you go first backwards with your right. Just pulling with the arm it’s not a good leading, learn to lead with yor body.
• Be careful with the contact with the lady and have a good posture in your body (don’t bend backwards).
